If you don't know who Ed Amoroso is, then where have you been hiding? Ed has a plethora of success under his belt and is quite hard to miss in the cyber security world. And now, he can add a member to the Vicarius Advisory Board to the list!

Dr. Amoroso is the current Chief Executive Officer of TAG Cyber LLC, which supports a countless number of companies around the world with cybersecurity advice, training, consulting and media services. Obviously, he wasn't always the CEO of TAG Cyber. For 31 years, Ed worked for AT&T and has only just recently retired. Starting out in Unix security R&D at Bell Labs, he managed to become Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer of AT&T. Can you see why we are so excited to have him on the Vicarius team?

Not only has he been a vital piece of these companies, but has also found the time to teach at some of the top universities. From NYU to Johns Hopkins, Ed has been sharing his knowledge of information security to the world's best and brightest. For 27 years and counting, Ed has been Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at one of many of his alma maters, the Stevens Institute of Technology.

You would think that with all of Ed's accomplishments, he wouldn't have time to do more, but you would be wrong. He is also the author of six books covering cybersecurity and a ton of major research, technical papers and articles.

Of course, all of these things didn't come easy. Ed has a B.S. in physics from Dickenson college, M.S./Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology and is a graduate of the Columbia Business School.
